Howard's Appliance, TV & Mattress at 3300 East Willow Street, Signal Hill, California.

First off all salesmen were very nice. Bought a stove hood and stove. Stove was great, good price. Stove fan hood had a good price as well. Both delivered stove is installed stove hood fan was not installed as agreed. It was new in the box and sealed when it was opened noticed a small dent. Figured it was OK it did not work somehow it was damaged inside the box, fan did not spin properly. Dangerous.

Here is where the problem started we could not get a refund, exchange or return. Turns out the manufacture had to send an inspector to the house to check to see that it was damaged. The manufacture would not return any calls though Howard‘s presidential team tried. This went on for two weeks. We Called every day.

Finally we uninstalled the hood brought it back.with intentions of leaving it till they got a resolution.
Surprisingly the manager took action ,he took our return and gave us a replacement.

I give the manager great respect for making that move. The new hood works fine.
So for all customers intending to buy from Howard’s ...check all items delivered whether it is in the box or not. Open it. Any thing scratched dented or out of place, do not take delivery. It is very hard to get the problem resolved. Takes a long time. And it may not be under the control of Howard’s. Protect your self.
The return process should be much better, such as Home Depot.
